I'M BACK IN BUSINESS

My previous main job, a temporary position at BI/Lahey Lawrence, has expired, and I decided to stay in private practice full time, and I have space for new patients.

Testimonials

Statements about Dr. Erdmann from patients and co-workers.

Christine O'Connell, Patient

"Dr. Erdmann has been my doctor since 2016. I was a lost drug addict who had just gotten out of jail. I struggled with my mental health for so long, and he helped me finally figure out the right medications to keep away from drugs for the longest period ever in my life. I will always be grateful for him."

Jayne Walsh, Patient

"Dr. Erdmann and I have known each other for two years. Dr. Erdmann has been a tremendous help in getting my bipolar medicines to a place where I feel good finally. He is very caring in nature and has always been available every time I called him for a quick chat when I was not feeling well. I look forward to our working together for many years to come."

Jack Weltner M.D., Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

"My dear colleague, Tony Erdmann, is the best psychopharmacologist I know.  He is also reliable, kind, loving and totally devoted to his patients.  His practice is a golden gift to our community."

NOTE TO CURRENT AND NEW PATIENTS

I have parted ways with Lynn Community Health Center (LCHC), and my plans for what comes next are tentative. I have taken a temporary job at Lahey/Beth Israel. It started on January 23, 2023 and may last several months. I will be alternating between their clinics in Salem and Lawrence, but I am also expecting to move to Jackson, Mississippi, for two years in the spring. In the mean time, I have begun to establish a private practice. I have malpractice insurance and am currently able to send prescriptions, including prescriptions for controlled substances, to pharmacies. This means that I can help the patients who were in my care at LCHC. I am now able to accept insurance from a group of insurance companies, specifically Medicare, MBHP through Masshealth and Unicare, Optum Plans (UBH, United Healthcare, Allways Health Partners/MBH. and UMR), and Cigna. I am waiting for Tufts and BCBS. I should get more word back shortly. In the mean time, I will see established patients who are not covered at no charge and willl start to take new patients who are covered. I still do not accept private pay. I will update my progress in this space. Thank you for your patience.
